Agents of Vengeance is the sixth scenario of the Unholy Alliance campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Shadow of Death. It becomes available at the same time as Secrets Revealed. Gelu and Gem are ordered by the Council of Elders to avenge the deaths of Lord Falorel, Lord Fayette, and the other victims of the Necromancers.

You must capture Castle Crypthome to win the scenario. However, if Gem or Gelu is defeated in combat, the scenario is lost. The heroes are limited to level 33 but will carry their experience, skills and spells on to their next scenario.OffBck
Gelu and Gem start in the north with one Rampart. There are two neutral Ramparts nearby, one in the northwest and one in the northeast. Two garrisons protect the player from attacks from the south, at least initially. The orange enemy has one Necropolis to the west and one to the east, both protected by garrisons filled with 20 bone dragons, 50 black knights, and 600 skeleton warriors. The red enemy has one Necropolis in the center and one in the south, the latter protected by a garrison with 100 ghost dragons, 80 power liches, and 60 vampire lords.
Gelu and Gem should start by building up their town and capturing the two other Ramparts. Capture all surrounding mines, including the ones underground. There is one light blue and one green keymaster's tent nearby, which can be used to open border guards to a unicorn glade and dendroid arches in the orange player's territory. Gelu should use his specialty to train all available wood elves into sharpshooters.
Once the player has built up their forces, head south and eliminate the orange player, then take out the red player's central Necropolis. The enemy now has one Necropolis left, but the garrison will present a real challenge for an unprepared hero. Place one of the heroes in front of the garrison to keep the enemy in place while the other hero visits stat-improving buildings, then switch places. The nearby subterranean gate leads to a hill fort, a dragon vault and a crystal cavern. The latter will allow the player to use crystal dragons in their army.
Once the player has a large enough army, they can take out the garrison and capture Crypthome.
