"Orcs run no more! Orcs will rule! Men, elves, dwarves and demons will kneel to Orcs!"
Quroq, to is army

A Murder of Crows is the only scenario in Rage of the Tribes campaign.

Walkthrough[]

Orcs have always been enslaved by the men of the Holy Griffin Empire. A shamaness, Kujin, has contacted the warlord Kunyak and shaman Batu. She tells them they told her about 3 signs. First is a demon mark, representing destruction of life, so Orcs will be life's protectors. Second one is a mark of a dragon man, who is half human and half demon. The last is a mark of dead, representing that Necromancers will be the ones to come to Mother Earth's aid. Still, Quroq, the tribe's warchief, is not convinced, and rallies the Orcs to grab weapons to attack the Holy Griffin Empire and rescue the Orc slaves. Kujin tells Gotai that Quroq shouldn't attack, but Gotai supports him. A griffin passes by and Archbishop Alaric is notified of the Orcs' conquest.

Quroq has two tasks - free the slaves and defeat the Raven Duchy. The Orcs will be guarded by a lot of Haven troops, but there are lot of Orcs Quroq has to free, so it won't be much of a problem. First one is in east, the second one in north-east, third one in south-west and the last one on the road to Voron peak. For each one freed, a dwelling will be built near where Quroq started his conquest. Also, there are some peasant huts, which can be burned for 1000 XP. After the 4 Orc labour camps have been devastated, Quroq has to attack Voron peak. The city is guarded by Klaus, but can be conquered easily.

After the town has been razed to the ground, Quroq rallies his troops. Kujin tells Gotai slaying people is not the Orcs' way, but Gotai inform this is their future. Somewhere else, however, Alaric is preparing the troops to attack the Orcs, picking their tribes one by one.

Towns[]

Haven: Voron peak

Events[]

Alaric decides to attack the Orcs.

Notes[]

  • Every time when Quroq free Orcs, a troop building from Stronghold will appear (close to Quroq's starting position).

Strategy[]

This scenario requires as few troops to be lost as possible. Still, the next Orc camp Quroq has to liberate contains more powerful troops than the previous. After freeing the last camp (which contains cyclopses), Quroq can defeat everyone on the map.
